  15.                     The Loan Chief Lite - Program Overview
  16.  
  17. Loan calculating has never been this easy!  Loan Chief is a financial software
  18. program designed with ease and flexibility in mind. It comes complete with a
  19. variety of loan tools for calculating Loan Amortization Schedules, Loan
  20. Charts and Loan Calculators for solving for missing values. Each financial
  21. tool contains a variety of options to allow maximum flexibility.

  23. The Loan Amortization tool allows variable payments, interest rates and
  24. compounding methods.  Professional schedules can be generated with monthly,
  25. quarterly, semi-annual or annual detail.  Special options are available to
  26. illustrate the savings incurred with an early payoff of a loan.  Several
  27. predefined acceleration methods are available in addition to a variable 
  28. payment which allows optimum flexibility.  Accelerated schedules can be
  29. illustrated side by side with the original schedule.  Another special option
  30. is the ability to show tax savings with mortgages.

  32. The Loan Chart tool produces a chart of loan values based on the criteria
  33. you select.  You select the type of loan values you want computed--it may 
  34. be loan payments, loan principal amounts, months in a loan or the interest
  35. rate.  Once you choose what you want to solve for, you enter one of the
  36. remaining loan values as a constant and the other two as a range of values.
  37. A chart is produced solving for all loan values specified in the ranges.

  39. Loan Chief is a menu driven program that also contains an on-line manual and
  40. individual help for each input to allow the user to easily navigate and
  41. understand the program. Configuration options are available for selecting 
  42. screen colors and printers.

  78.   The following is a list of features found in the "Professional" version of
  79.   the Loan Chief which are not found in the "Lite" version.
  80.    * Contains the ability to add a client name to the schedule. 
  81.    * Contains the ability to add an agent name to the schedule.
  82.    * Contains the ability to add 3 permanent header lines and 3 permanent
  83.      footer lines.  These can be used for company name, address, phone
  84.      number or anything.
  85.    * Contains the ability to add additional footnotes to appear on all pages
  86.      or just on the last page of a schedule.
  87.    * Contains the ability to turn bolding on or off for schedule totals,
  88.      headers and footers.
  89.    * Contains an enhanced filing system where information can be saved for
  90.      multiple clients.
  91.    * Contains the ability to set defaults for the schedule printing
  92.      options.  These include the "Print Destination", "Schedule Detail",
  93.      "Yearly Basis", "Cumulative Values", "Cumulative Totals", "Dollar
  94.      Values", "Date Format" and "Sequence Column".  Your preferred setting
  95.      of these options can be set and will be saved so that these options
  96.      are the default options every time that the program is run.

  125.   above. Upon receipt, you will be sent the latest version of The Loan Chief.

  127.   will receive notification of major updates and new products. Registration
  128.   includes a 90 day support policy where free updates will be provided for
  129.   major problems. If a problem cannot be resolved, then a refund of money
  130.   will be made.
